You're the only one that determines if you lose

Dreams they told you would never come true
the eye you look into when you look into the mirror
that is the person that loves you the most
the rest will fade away by the end of the day.

Here for the moment, left alone once again.
Lying in your bed at night going over all those mistakes again.
Can't close your eyes, to many tears in your eyes.
Looking for a better way, no one really gives you the truth.

The gossip and rumors spreading through the grape vine about you.
Stories they think are true, they've written you off
They've walked away because they've given up on you.
Them stories they've told all deceptions and lies they've created in their own heads,
They say things to you, hoping you will move.
Only teaching you to stand in the mud, covered in confusion because of man.

Unconditional love they don't know how to do, because of the world they live in,
all falling into their own personal desires, hoping you will follow
only to find out it's just another broken man or woman like you.
Somehow you find the strength to refuse all the deceptions in the land.

Some how at some point you have to make a stand
facing all the Goliath's that come your way, pulling back with all your strength
like David knocking down that Giant's face up high in the sky.
There is no fear, or Giant big enough for you.
God's always going to give you the strength to come through the struggles
that come each day.

There is no pain and suffering in God's world
no war or hate against the human race.
Sins don't exist, God has already wiped them away he always wins.
Destiny comes and we choose our fate as we face each man.
Every second and every moment the choices we make determines
whether we lose ourselves in a darkened world
that swallows us whole by someone's example before the end of the day.

Wipe away the dirt that covers your eyes, walk out of the mud washing
away all man's desires stripping away the sins of the past.
Fail or not it's the only way to learn, you might be broken or bruised,
even abused, and used.
Walk away from all those that hurt you.
Abuse is never the answer or the truth.
Enough is enough when they shoot those arrows flaming with desires across the sky.

When you desire to stand up and fight you find you have nothing to lose.
Shoot those flaming arrows of unconditional love in the air watching them fly
lighting up the darkness of the sky.
Learn to be wise in God's eyes.
No need to argue, doesn't matter what others do.
It just matters that you stand up for something, living the passion that God planted
in your soul, true authentic unconditional love the world can never refuse.
No intimidation or force used, just plain gentleness of the soul.
Silence sometimes saves the day.

Only you can walk the right way, sometimes you have to let yourself choose
understanding you're the only one that knows what is best for you.
No man can save you. No one can make your path, except you.
Someday you might finally found out the best friend you have in this world
is no man, just you.

Find your worth only comes from looking down deep inside knowing your own truth.
God always said, "Seek the Truth and will set you free."
Truth you can never refuse.
You're the only one with God that can come riding in and save the day.
If you wait for someone else, you have a very long wait.
You get to choose, you're the only one that determines if you lose.
