Soulmate Love

Looking in your eyes over a thousand times,

my heart recalls the love that grows so deeply within.

No words to explain it, now words to define it.

Love is forever evolving over time.

Spiritually connected from the umbilical chord of love that breathes life into our souls.

Intertwined by two hearts blazing eternally coming together to make one light and flame.

Eternally spoken for, a bond than can never break.

Whispers in the night,

softly embracing each other,

never parting our ways, but living moment to moment.

Relinquishing all control over the other,

allowing each other to exist just as we are,

laying down all fears, and having faith God will always be our guardian light.

What God brings together no man shall ever separate.

Life breathes into our bones like fresh air,

and glows like the setting sun off in the distant of the horizon's sun.

Peaceful and content where we are in life,

never having to prove anything to one another,

just accepting where we are in the moment.

Imperfect as we are, never allowing our differences to tear us a part.

Mistakes we have made, lies we have told,

but forgiveness always in our heart.

Defending one another, protecting one another, and what is ours.

Time brought us here to this moment,

soul-mates we are, to treasure one another,

and a gift and blessing to each other we are from God.

May we always find love in our hearts to give,

put aside our selfish ego's,

and find compassion within to give to the other.

May we always have a listening ear,

slow to speak, and quick to hear what the other person is really saying.

May our love always be faithful and true.
